Welcome to Sangregado Lodge, a boutique ecolodge owned and run by a Costa Rican family in La Fortuna de San Carlos, at the foot of Arenal Volcano. Set on 27 hectares of private rainforest, 2 km east of the Arenal Lake Dam, our retreat invites you to step away from the noise and rediscover nature, serenity and yourself.

Seventeen separate units, each standing on its own in the forest: Standard and Superior rooms with a private terrace and hammock, Junior Suites with a kitchenette, Treetop rooms at canopy height, and a Family Villa with two bedrooms. Windows from floor to ceiling open to the volcano and the forest. Every unit has air conditioning, a safe, TV and hair dryer.

Mistico Hanging Bridges Park, the Arenal hot springs and Arenal Volcano National Park are within a 10 to 20 minute drive, and downtown La Fortuna is about 20 minutes away. Our team arranges tours and transfers with local operators.
